This program is open to Bath Residents of all ages! Snowsports are a wonderful and fun way for people to take advantage of the mental and physical health benefits of outdoor recreation. Benefits and advantages of ski areas are space, natural outdoor environment, standard gear and long standing slope safety etiquette.
Winter in Maine = Fun in the snow!

Offering lessons, rentals and tickets at our group rate for the 2026 program season.
Lessons are for children ages 7 through 8th grade and minimum of 48 inches tall. Lift tickets and rentals are available for all other children, teens, and adults in Bath. Children in grade 5 and under must be accompanied by an adult for at least the first two sessions. Children under age 7 or 48 inches are not eligible for lessons, but are welcome with an adult.
DATES & TIMES: Eight weeks, Friday nights beginning on 1/9/2026. Lessons are held 5:45-7:00 pm. Lift tickets are valid from 3:00—8:00 pm, so you can ski before or after lessons.
TICKET PICK-UP: Bath Parks & Recreation will provide a ticket pick up time to registered participants prior to the start of the program at the Bath Parks & Recreation office.
RENTAL EQUIPMENT: Please be prepared to provide the height, weight, shoe size and level of skier/rider upon registration.
- Before Registering: Please click here to carefully review the Ski and Snowboard Levels of Ability to ensure proper placement in the appropriate lesson group.
- Level of Ability: Your selection will determine the student’s group for the entire program, and it is crucial to be as accurate as possible.
HELMETS: Should be worn by everyone but required for every program participant under age 18. You can select to rent a helmet during the registration process if you don't own one.
LESSONS: 1.25 hour lesson from 6:00 - 7:15 pm. Cones and numbers will be used to denote classes. You will receive this information prior to your first lesson.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Detailed program information will be sent to registered participants from Lost Valley as we get closer to the start date.
TRANSPORTATION: There are no buses for this program. All transportation is done on your own.

Lesson & Lift Ticket....................$319 ($40/wk)
Lift Ticket & Rental.....................$518 ($65/wk)
Lift Ticket Only............................$269 ($34/wk)
*There will be additional debit/credit card fees upon registration with Lost Valley's online system.
Registration will open on 11/1/2025 and end on 12/15/2025 unless lessons are full before 12/15.

Inclement Weather, Sick Kids & Refunds
Will classes be held in the snow, rain, or cold weather?
Lessons are often held in inclement weather conditions.
**IN THE EVENT OF A CANCELLATION, PARTICIPANTS WILL NOT BE CALLED INDIVIDUALLY.
If the weather is questionable, please check lostvalleyski.com/cancellations.html to check the status of your lesson.
What if a class is postponed by Lost Valley?
-- Classes, if postponed by Lost Valley, will be made up at the end of the program.
If you or your group elects not to come on a day when Lost Valley is open and lessons are running, there will be no make up day.
What if my child is sick and can’t attend class?
-- Classes cannot be made up due to illness or schedule conflicts.

What if my child gets hurt or doesn’t want to attend class anymore? Can I get a refund?
-- We will issue refunds in the case of an injury or illness with a doctors note only. If your child does not want to attend classes, we may offer partial credit for the unattended portion of the lesson program. This credit may be used for any other purchases at Lost Valley.
