This is an introductory Tennis program for grades K-2 held at Dike Newell School on Wednesday mornings from 8-9 am to fill that late start morning. Children will be dismissed from the tennis program directly to their classrooms at the start of school.
Instructor Lisa Vinikoor will lead kids through the very basics of tennis in this clinic with age appropriate activities and stations with each week building upon the last to increase skills, knowledge and confidence on the court.
Tennis for grades K-2 provides crucial physical development through improved hand-eye coordination, balance, and agility. Using specialized equipment, it builds fundamental movement skills, enhances cognitive focus, and fosters social skills like teamwork and sportsmanship. It is a safe, active, and fun introduction to a lifelong sport.
We will provide all equipment needed for this program!
Due to the very limited space to available, this program is capped at 10 participants.
