39th Annual Bath Area Senior Citizen Cribbage Tournament Results
The 39th Annual Bath Area Senior Citizen Tournament was held last Saturday, February 14th, 2026 at the Bath Area Senior Citizen’s Activity Center.
The event was co-sponsored by the Son’s of the American Legion Squadron 21 and the Bath Parks & Recreation Department.
There was a better turnout this year and the weather was beautiful; there were 12 doubles teams and 19 Singles competing in this year’s competition.
Singles Competition
The Singles tournament was held in a round robin style format. Players were split into 3 divisions, the winners of each division then competed in a single elimination playoff to determine lst through 3rd place finishers. All division winners went through their tournaments undefeated until they met in the finals to determine 1st, 2nd and third. Paul James emerged undefeated.

Doubles Competition
The Doubles Competition was held in the same manner as the singles tournament This provided plenty of cribbage matches and the ties in the win /loss column being determined by how the competitors did against one another.

We would like to thank everyone who participated and our sponsors who made this event possible. It was obvious that Paul James and Lyn Jackson had a very good day. We look forward to next year’s tournament. Next year there will be the 40th Annual Bath Area Senior Citizens Cribbage Tournament. We are not exactly sure what will be done but I can assure you that this event will be bigger and even better tournament!
