Bath Youth League Basketball is now a part of Shipbuilder Basketball! We believe that the strongest programs are built through collaboration, so we have joined forces to create a cohesive partnership that will provide a consistent coaching philosophy, shared expectations and a clear developmental pathway from a players very first dribble all the way through high school!

Teams are made up in the following ways:
- Girls 3rd & 4th grade combined

Depending upon the number of teams in each division; we may play all in-house or with surrounding towns of Wiscasset, Damariscotta, Richmond and Boothbay Harbor.
This program aims to teach the foundations of basketball while providing an opportunity for each child to play in the recreational season.
PRACTICES: Dates & times TBD once coaches are in place. They are usually 1 or 1.5 hours and are held on weeknights.
GAMES: Game schedules will be published after registration is complete and we know how many teams we have from all participating communities.

We measure success not by the scoreboard but by the growth in our athletes' skill, confidence and character from the start of the season to the end.
-->Teams are formed based on the number of coaches available. Once teams are full registration will go to a wait list. If you are interested in coaching please contact Gina at gcaldwell@cityofbathmaine.gov or Rebecca at rmalburne@cityofbathmaine.gov or select that option during registration.
Wait list will begin November 3 or when teams are full.
Practice days are determined by coaches availability. We understand that kids are involved in other activities so please let us know if a certain day of the week does not work for your family. We will do our best to accommodate other activities, travel issues, and siblings.
Registration includes a team shirt to keep.
